Taking place at the East London Arch Galleries in Bethnal Green the event will be a unique fusion of art and fashion, supporting the Red Light Campaign's Impact Victim Support Fund and The Human Trafficking Foundation.
There are approximately 27 million slaves in our world today. More than any other time in history combined. Trafficked persons are subjected to acts of rape, torture, debt bondage, unlawful confinement, and threats against their family. Our events raise funds to empower those directly involved in the prevention, rescue and reintegration of victims of trafficking.
Hosted by TV presenter Nel Heydat and actor Jassa Ahluwalia, the evening will include a keynote speech on modern-slavery by Prof. Zoe Trodd, three unique pieces by designerAda Zanditon for sale (dedicated by her especially for this evening), plus fashion & art installations created by Jessica Knight, Miranda Stewart and Karin Williger.
Music for the evening comes courtesy of Ambie founder, Gideon Chain. There will be a fully stocked bar with complimentary drinks/goody bags for VIP ticket holders. Plus a raffle with lots of prizes by Able & Cole, clothes by House of Beth, craft-beer, and much more.
Plus all the latest news on the future the Cube Movement, the Red Light Campaign's tech and social project.
HELP US SMASH THE £5000 CEILING
What do we need to help many more people, much faster? In order to get the big bucks in donations, we need a charity number from the UK Charity Commission. And we can only get this if we have above £5000 in our account. And only with that number will we be able to ask for more donations. As you can see - it's about breaking through that initial £5000 ceiling.
£5000 = 10 lives changed
Our goal for the evening - through ticket sales, the amazing support of fashion designers, sponsors, and most of all... YOU - is to raise £5001 to complete our application with the Charity Commission.
For that we need your help - when you buy your ticket, please add a donation. Go for donation tickets, or the £100 option if you can afford it. Or even the £500. Send your friends the link to this page and ask them to donate, even if they can't come.
Since we are at such an important stage of growth, every single donation has a huge impact on our entire organisation and on the people we are helping. Our Impact Fund currently supports survivors of trafficking with up to £500 for immediate and emergency help. We work with the Human Trafficking Foundation to ensure that they get exactly what they need, often only hours after their need has become apparent.
£5000 will allow us to help 10 new survivors of human trafficking
