After enjoying success at Lift-Off’s First-Time Filmmakers Showcase at Pinewood Studios earlier this year (alumni include Oscar-winning short film The Silent Child), Heart’s Ease is an official selection at Los Angeles Lift-Off Film Festival 2018.
The week-long festival takes place at Hollywood’s historic Raleigh Studios, with Heart’s Ease set to screen as part of ‘Shorts Programme 3’ on Thursday 20th September, 5.45pm - 7.00pm.
Heart’s Ease marks Jassa’s debut as a writer-director and recently won BEST FILM at The Short Cinema, Leicester International Short Film Festival. The short will continue its festival run at San Diego International Film Festival in October. Further festival dates are to be confirmed.
