Jassa is proud to announce that his self-penned directorial debut Heart's Ease is in pre-production.
Exploring one of modern day's biggest social taboos, the short film tells the story of shy teenage outcast John and his unlikely romance with cool new girl Anna, recently arrived from America.
Produced by GreanTea Productions, Heart's Ease has been described by Jassa's Unforgotten co-star Nicola Walker as: "An excellent short film, dark and affecting, alive with desire and taboo."
Jassa says: "Heart's Ease started out in my head as a conceptual question about social taboo. It's since evolved into a very real and challenging short film!
"As an actor I've had the privilege of working with and learning from some phenomenally talented people and I'm hugely excited to be bringing that experience to the director's chair for the first time."
Filming commences next month in Richmond, south west London.
